Counting Bones reminds you of the great AOR stations of the 70s and the bands that made them worthwhile to tune in.  It was a great time for rock music and there were stations that would play entire albums on the air (WAAF out of Worcester, MA was my favorite). Those days are gone forever but bands like these rockers from the UK bring all of that excitement and wonder back into the music with their firebrand rock 'n' roll.  They know how to switch it up at any moment, ranging from pounding heart rockers to acoustic simplicity or offering up a delicatable slice of instrumental bliss.

Counting Bones has their chops down and they know how to deliver the goods and it always comes up a winning hand. Place your bets now, there will be many more people listening to their music very soon!

Artist Bio:

"Counting Bones," is the brainchild of London based guitarist, Andy Edwards. Andy had previously worked with legendary bass player Stuart Hamm (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Frank Gambale etc.), on a small, solo instrumental project in 2009. The next project, a full studio album, started taking shape in 2011. For Andy, this new project had to be vocals based - great songs and strong hooks - back to his roots! With most of the music written and lyrical ideas storyboarded, Andy needed to find a vehicle for the project. Teaming up again with awesome studio engineers/producers (and great friends), Ash Milton and Dan Goudie (Dan also being a great vocalist!) this turned out to be an ideal writing team, for the album's vocal tracks. With Andy on guitars, Dan on vocals, bass player Stu Hamm back on board and London's finest, Pete Riley (Guthrie Govan, Keith Emerson Band), in as drummer, "Counting Bones" was born! Recorded at Miloco Studios and The Treehouse in London, during 2011 & 2012, the album Right Where I Left It, is now here!
