It is an internet age music company, founded by businessman David Pollard, that works with independent pop/rock artists to create and implement marketing programs to get their music and careers off the ground. Missing Beat uses internet and traditional methods to gain exposure for their artists and helps them become successful.

We basically do or help our artists do what the major labels used to offer new artists. The difference is, we are not and do now want to control our artist’s future like the labels used to do. We want to simply enable our artists to enjoy success on their own terms with the artistic freedom that is so important to them.

Missing Beat works with our artists to develop the following:

• Internet-based Press Coverage and Promotion
• E-Mail driven fan-base development and management
• On-line CD and download sales strategies
• Inclusion on MissingBeat website
• Review and inclusion on MuzikReviews website
• Representation of select artists to tour agents and record labels

In essence, we work with each artist to develop the right strategy for them ranging from pure internet to higher touch promotional approaches.
