The Royal Savages are an experimental Alternative Folk/Rock band from Fort Worth TexasTheir music was good enough to get my attention and feature them on our site and that is the main qualifier to be a weekly featured artist. They had previously provided very little information about who they were however they updated their Reverb Nation page and now listeners can get a better idea of who they are where they are going!

They provide 3 demo tracks (listen on sidebar) that sound very good actually and their alt rock-folk style is very contagious. Royal Savages have a bright future if they can continue on the right path and evolve as a band. Currently they are looking for a synth player to flesh out their overall sound.

Artist Bio:

The Royal Savages are a new, experimental, 4 piece, Alternative Folk/Rock band From Fort Worth Texas. The band was started by Dustin Gasser in the summer of 2012 and was joined soon after by Addison White. They took Dustin's songs, edited and revised them and came out with their 3 song demo album, Port Renaissance. Shortly after, the band added the oh-so-lovely Lauren Moore to bring beauty, finesse, and angelic harmonies to the music. The next addition to the band was bassist James Hughes to drive the heart and rhythm of each song. Once this group got together they wrote more songs and improved on their originals. And now we come to the present day, we are always looking for shows, a fun place, or reason to play. We are currently looking for a synth player to take the music to its final level. Thank you to everyone who follows us and listens to our music we appreciate it
