Our band Deaf Symphony™ was nothing more than a dream in 2004. It was just my musical and business partner Matt Cerbin and I at that time. We decided to record a CD as a labor of love, and nothing more at that time. I played the drums, and Matt played all of the other instruments and sang. In March of 2005, we put our CD out on the Internet via all of the digital download sites, and other outlets such as Amazon, Borders, Tower Records, etc. We also launched a basic web site. Wow, you were right! They just keep on comin'! I lost count after the second email you sent! HA! Keith, can I just say "THANK YOU TIMES INFINITY!" I've already gotten 3 gig requests, sold 10 CDs from my website this week!, and I am feeling so much better physically because this is such a boost to my mental state! Unless I totally misjudged, I feel like you actually understand my art (which is synonymous with my heart), I think it's amazing how music/art can bring people together (especially in our modern world where direct human interaction is a growing rarity), how a melody and a mood proves that putting a face with a name is not as important as connecting an idea with an image-which in turn creates another web of connections! You are one of the few that immediately recognizes the connection-a gift that you were blessed with. I believe it is this gift that draws people to you. And by no means was it a coincidence that I was lead to you through Broadjam (although seemingly random!). My growing suspicion is that, perhaps, you are like-mind and resource turned friend not just for THIS season. Keith “MuzikMan” Hannaleck has done all that he promises, and more. I approached him for both a Review and also for PR. From the outset it was clear that his moniker “MuzikMan” was justified, as he showed a remarkable understanding of my music, and was able to express his opinions eloquently. He also recognized the problem I faced as an independent artist embarking on a recording career. I had little or no presence on the web, and it was important to rectify that, and, at the same time he targeted weaknesses in my webpage. My presence on Google had been less than 100, and the impact of the review increased this to a Google search reading at “1 - 10 of about 9,640”. In only five days his PR campaign increased this to results of “1 - 10 of about 17,300.” My presence has mushroomed out of all proportion since Keith took me on. He has been very helpful with advice on how to improve my webpage, and he has given useful advice concerning queries over contacts on the web. Once my CD “Reason To Live” became available on CD Baby, Keith helped me set the right price. A few months back I emailed Keith "Muzikman" Hannaleck and asked if he would consider reviewing Sytek and Davies' recent CD From the Shadow of the Citadel.  Keith emailed back that he would be happy to consider it; he indicated that his reviews were always reserved for projects he could identify with on a personal level, so there were no guarantees. We submitted the CD and press kit and waited. A few weeks later the review published, and almost immediately Sytek and Davies' Google search numbers jumped from a few hundred to over 39,000 online references!  AND, our office received an increase in CD requests from radio stations and online stations; all the attention helped stimulate at least one major review in an international (UK) publication!
